This book has as its object the set of fortified farmhouses and defensive towers, which in the 13th century defended the territory of Balansiya, the Muslim Valencia. This social, productive, agrarian, political and military organization was neutralized by Jaime I in 1238, in the phase prior to the conquest of Valencia. Legacy of those defenses are the farmhouses, few, and the towers, which are integrated into the urban landscape, are testimony to a legacy that forms our history. | |||
